bay area figurative nostalgia
Between the Diebenkorn show at the de Young this summer (which is BEAUTIFUL) and the Arneson show opening at Zwirner in NYC next week, summer 2013 seems to be all about Bay Area Figurative.
Perhaps the appropriate chronological procession after all the AbEx throwbacks we've seen recently... Regardless, I'm a big fan.
